1. Who we are
Techriver LLC (“Techriver”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at contact@techriversystems.com.
This policy covers our website. Personal data processed inside our products (such as Ma Conformité or Ancora) on behalf of our customers is governed by the customer agreement and our Data Processing Agreement.
2. Data we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: first and last name, work email address, the topic you select, your message, and whether you opted in to product news.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address and the date and status of your subscription confirmation (double opt-in).
- Email correspondence: anything you choose to include when you write to us.
Information collected automatically
- Technical request data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages requested. This is processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
- Newsletter engagement: if you subscribe, our email provider may record whether emails are delivered, opened, or clicked so we can measure and improve our communications.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Service providers
We use carefully selected providers that process personal data on our behalf, under written data processing terms:

5. International transfers
Some providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data protection law requires it, we rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate supplementary measures.
6. How long we keep data
- Inquiries: up to 24 months after our last interaction, unless a business relationship follows, in which case the relevant contract terms apply.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted automatically.
- Technical request data: for the short periods needed for security and operations, as determined by our hosting provider.
7. Your rights
EEA, UK, and Switzerland
You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California and other U.S. states
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access, correct, or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@techriversystems.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 30 days for GDPR requests and 45 days for California requests) and may need to verify your identity first.
8. Marketing emails
We only send product news to people who have confirmed their subscription. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and access restricted to staff who need it. Learn more in our Security Whitepaper.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
